Impossible Odds Records is committed to social change and social justice. We believe that music is a powerful tool that when used positively can enhance the lives of many.

Founded by Brisbane northsider, Fred Leone in 2008 and launched on July 23rd 2010. Impossible Odds aims to give a voice to a generation that is seemingly unheard.

Being an established Hip Hop Workshop facilitator throughout the state of Queensland for the past 7 years, a youth worker for 10 years and having performed as an artist for 15 years in various Brisbane Hip Hop acts. Fred saw first hand the massive gap in funding and support in general for the genre of Hop Hop and decided to take the steps to make a change for the better. Not only for the for the Indigenous communities he’s worked in but the Queensland Hip Hop scene in general which is still finding it’s feet in comparison to Victoria and New South Wales and South Australia who’s scenes are thriving with acts that tour nationally on a regular basis.

In 2011 the label decided to take the step into other genres of music so from here on in, the sky is the limit! So continue to follow and support and watch the journey unfold & help us to become Queensland's biggest independant Music Label.
