Autumn Recordings

Autumn Recordings is an independent label representing a small stable of Brisbane-based artists and bands. Their focus is on releasing and supporting quality independent music. Nothing too slick and shiny, they like a few rough edges to catch their shabby clothes on.

Initially started by Darryl Gray and John Meyer to release their bands’ material, the label is now expanding to include other artists. Its current roster contains the following acts: The Good Ship, Transvaal Diamond Syndicate, Rattlehand, John Meyer, The Neurotransmitters.

The Autumn Recordings Manifesto:

1. All clothes are the musicians own (or borrowed from hobos).
2. Whilst on stage, no Autumn Recordings act shall place their arms any higher than their shoulders, their legs any more than 1 metre apart, nor shall pyrotechnics of any sort be used.
