Valve is a Brisbane based conduit for releasing music from all quarters and directions. Valve works in conjunction with Consume that both manages artists (mainly Regurgitator & I Heart Hiroshima), promotes and administers tours (including Ratatat, Peaches, Mono, Trans Am, Kid606, JD Samson, Stereo Total, etc) and works with entities like the Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane assisting with the curation of their Up Late music programmes ...and somehow or another wires this all together into an all consuming project.

Valve collaborates with local, national and international artists under various guises including physical and digital music release, management, touring and other areas of support and possible expertise that has congealed on the webs over the past decades.

Valve Records works with MGM Distribution as located in Sydney.

Valve is transfixed by the ever so weird collision of culture and commerce and how creativity and integrity negotiates a path through this quagmire to survive and flourish especially in these hyper-mediated times.
