TN.23 Bertie Page Clinic Rock & Roll in a G-string
Bertie Page Clinic is the perverted child of burlesque and garage rock. Australian Cabaret star Bertie Page heads up this wicked little band of retrograde rockers. This punchy tracks are a collaboration between Miss Page and Phill Wilson (Chucknee and founding member of Blowhard). This garage punk band combine the best elements of glam rock, punk rock and Trash rock, pulled off with a T. Rex/Alice Cooper bent.

TN.21 Blowhard 5 Minute Ride Through Hell CD
Brisabane's Blowhard formed in a practice room in July 1989, from the ashes of Bad Ronald and New Improved Testament and played their first show the following early september '89. Blowhard shift from their early rawkus punkrocknroll to skapunk to jazzy hardcore in the late 90' to early 00's.All laden with antipodean humour and whit. This compilation "5 Minute Ride through Hell" encompasses all parts of their recorded career from 1990 to 2001 including the early single recordings through debut album "Blowin Off" to fan favourite "Hornbag" and later era "Toxic Swing". Many live favourites are here including V8 RocknRoll, Hey Taxi, Fat Juicy Cop, Big One and Teenage Girlfriend with the marvellous Fred Negro.
"5 minute Ride through hell" also features an extensive 16 page booklet full of liner notes, pictures magazine articles and flyers

Screamin Stevie's Australia's and their debut nine track album Just Want to be Friends will win friends across all genre barriers and divides. Encompassing Garage to blues to Psychedelia and beyond, all with his trademark organ grinding away. Since the hiatus of his previous group The Credit Union Stevie has assembled a group featuring Brian Mann on guitar ( Screaming Tribesmen & The Headstones) jack Mulroney on Bass (Purple Avengers) and Russell on drums and percussion( Mystery of Sixes). They have come together within the last 18 months playing with likes of The Stems, Pineapples From the Dawn of Time, Mick Hadley and the Others and Eddy Current Suppression Ring.

TN.16 Gravel Samwich-Nonchalance
Gravel Samwidge started in Sydney in 1989 playing with bands such as Lubricated Goat, Munroe's Fur, King Snake Roost, Tex Perkin's Butcher Shop before relocating to Melbourne in 1990. Based in Brisbane at the moment the band is continuing to play live. The Debut full length album Nonchalance was recorded at Zero Interference in Bowen Hills. Big noisey Black Eye guitar rock with smatterings of vintage synths and screwball guitar.

TN.13 Shonkytonk-I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter CD
This release was released back in 1998 independently by the Shonkytonk and disappeared after just one pressing. This is one of Australia’s lost country gems featuring the one and only Fred Negro (I Spit On Your Gravy) along with Dave Moll (Harem Scarem) and several other St Kilda personalities. Covering Jonathan Richman Roger Miller George Jones and Hank Williams Jr. Flawless country.

Surf Lounge Exotica extravaganza featuring the talent of one Mr Phill Wilson. Chucknee’s uber lord and master of ceremonies. This album is the culmination three different Chucknee lineups firstly the surf exotica type they normally would employ in a live band setting.The second is a fourteen piece polka band and the third is dreamy cantonese psychedelica. A majority of vocals were by Rollo from Brisbane Punk institution Blowhard. Other players on this album includes Members of Godnose SixftHick Blowhard.

Turkeyneck is pleased as punch to be rereleasing this Melbourne Country Punk gem. Originally released on Virgin? in 1987 The Band who Shot features Fred Negro and Phil Miles of I Spit on Your Gravy and members of the Corpsegrinders. This is a reasonably new combo kicking around the local brisbane dives. Featuring Screamin Stevie Zillman on Singin, Organ and Harmonica. Formally from Bris/Melb garage stalwarts the HEKAWIS. Screamin Stevie has assembled one tight little garage rock combo behind him with two guitarists bass and drums. This album covers everything from Women to Acid and all the paranoia's associated with the two. This is organ drivin' madness at its best! TN.08 The Busymen Distort All Levels CD
Formed in 1997 the Busymen have been spellbinding audiences with their singular take on 60s punk and rock & roll. They combine beat, proto-punk, blues and feedback and you can dance to it. The band cut their teeth in Brisbanes gutter rock scene of the late 90s which included bands like Strutter, Big Bongin Baby, the Hekawis, Standing 8 Counts and the Cool Millions.The stage presence of unique vocal stylist "Boston" Bob Smith (maracas, tambourine, kung fu) is often cited as the key element to the Busymen's live reputation. All live from from a dive reportedly North of St Kilda and west of Rockhampton. Extensive liner notes from a former Manager who expains how the strippers went bust when they took two dollar notes out of circulation and many other tales of violence and stupidity from the aforementioned shit hole. TN.01 They Might Be Vaginas "fourftfuck" 7"ep
Debut release for turkeyneck and TMBV, this four track 7" is a rude crude and stupid as can you can hope for, from the the opener Dwarf fuckin to the to the pastiche of No Eye Dear's wife-slaying william tell overture.It does not disappoint especially if high hopes are not for you . Musically its sort of like a hyped up Child Molesters mixed with a little rural Nine Pound Hammer. These guys also appeared on Swedish label Tickled Crippler's "No shit its the GG Allin and the Jabbers tribute" album doing the GG Allin classic Bored to Death. Released in 2001 with a fantastic cover by the one and only Fred Negro. This ep set a trend of lo-fi offensive punkrock'n'roll for turkeyneck to follow.
