Giants of Science are a rock band from Brisbane Australia. Their material is a combination of Detroit style rock'n'roll, stoner rock grooves ala QOTSA and Swervedriver/Sonic Youth style guitar atmospherics, all served up with a distinctly Antipodean attitude.

Since their formation in 1999 they have released 2 studio albums, two EPs and the very soon to be released live album, "Live at the Troubadour", as well as playing exotic locations like Vanuatu in the summer, Canada in the winter and touring around Australia many times, they have supported and toured with acts such as Radio Birdman, The Hard Ons, Tumbleweed, DKT/MC5, McClusky, Front End Loader.

Giants of Science have champagne taste, beer money and bad attitudes, and are clearly much better than any of your stupid bands.

They hope to release their 3rd full length album in 2010.
